Thanks to all the participants for coming to St. Louis Bench Rest Rifle Club to participate in the 2019 East West Show-Me-Shoot-Out dedicated to Mr. Rich Griffin. I believe this is one of the largest, if not the largest, turn out for the East West in a non-points year. We had 79 shooters registered for the match which is awesome. Thunderstorms delayed the start of the match on Saturday by about an hour and a half and some heavy to light rain pretty much continued off and on the whole weekend. While the shooters stayed dry the poor target crew just had to deal with being wet most of the time. But, they did a fantastic job!!
Congratulations to the winner Hugh Williamson for not only winning but has a potential new world record in Light Varmint 100 yards. Hugh shot an incredible .1382 Aggregate which was well ahead of the second place finisher. That difference pretty much shows that this match was no “Trigger Pull”. Hugh just did a fantastic job.
