Membership
Our facility is made possible through the support of members who contribute in order to help us provide a safe environment to learn, practice, and compete. The benefit of supporting our mission is that you are able to use the facility when it is not being used for the purposes of our mission. In addition to having access to one of the world’s finest shooting ranges, you can take pride in the fact that you are helping secure the use of our facility for future generations.
With safety being our primary concern, those interested in membership must either have a current member bring you to the range for a live fire session, or must be scheduled to meet with a Board Member for a Sponsorship Shoot in order to ensure your ability to handle firearms safely.
Once we receive the completed Sponsorship form, potential members will then be sent instructions for completing a membership application.
The completed application should then be submitted along with our Social Media form, a non-employment background check from your local law enforcement agency or from the Missouri State Highway Patrol MACHS website, and $50 non-refundable deposit. If the applicant is approved for membership, they will be contacted to register for the mandatory Safety Orientation class and the $50 deposit will be applied toward the one-time $500 initiation fee and initial membership dues of $300, which are due in full at the end of the Orientation class.
As a member you are qualified to shoot out to 200 yards. We have qualifications to pass to be able to shoot 300 - 600 yards, and 600 - 1200 yards. Classes are also available to help you get ready to qualify out to those distances.
